For 2016, Pantone selected not one but two colours of the year: Serenity and Rose Quartz. And now, they have just released the Colour of The Year 2017: Greenery—a pretty significant departure from the pretty pastel hues.
According to Pantone, the bright yellow-green shade of 'Greenery' symbolizes the "reconnection we seek with nature and all." The color company went on to state that the hue seeks to "revive, restore, and renew.” Greenery has already made appearances on the Spring 2017 runways, standing out in the collections of designers like Balenciaga and Sies Marjan.

As the new year kicks off, it'll only be a matter of time before the fashion, beauty and design industries start picking up on the bright green hue, so get ready to reconnect with nature in 2017.
