Celebrating harmony and diversity through fashion, Teté by Odette unveiled a Fall/Winter 2020-2021 collection that merges “unexpected fabrics, colours and patterns in the language” of her very own brand.
“I am not afraid of an eccentric and striking colour palette for autumn or winter – quite the contrary, it gives me security and allows me to work on other details of the design. Although black is one of my top colours, when I am preparing a new collection, I can’t help being attracted to fabrics full of colour and light,” shares designer Odette Álvarez, the driving force behind Teté by Odette.
The fashion jewellery and accessories world could take a cue from Álvarez who has turned fabric prints and their rich textures into art forms, using rhinestones, sequins, beads and chains for added contrast, colour and interest.
For her latest fashion line, Álvarez chose fabric headbands, round glasses, hats and bold disc and spiral metal earrings with textured and mirror finishes to heighten the collection’s glamour factor.
